2. Days of Ministry

"Days of Ministry" describes the holistic ministry of Jesus . It serves as a backdrop for the rest of the "Made Whole" concert program. Its lyrics are based off of Ellen White's book, The Ministry of Healing. 

Lyrics:

The Lord came down and walked with men 

His feet trod the roads of dust and clay; 

He came from heaven’s glorious throne 

To live a life with no place to lay. 

Jesus touched the trembling hands 

And held the broken, hurting souls; 

His hands reached down from heav’n above 

To touch our hearts and make them whole.

Chorus:

He took on our infirmities  

Bore our sickness in humility 

For He came to earth to save us from our sins; 

For He came to make us whole again.

The Savior felt the bleeding hearts; 

That bled with wounds of pain and loss; 

He bore the weight of sin and shame 

When He suffered on the cross.
